We are living in an epidemic of loneliness

Loneliness is increasingly recognized as a significant public health issue affecting emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing. Many adults report lacking meaningful community connection and emotionally supportive environments.

Ember Place is built on the belief that wellbeing happens in relationship and that social connection and places of belonging are essential to the health, wellbeing and survival of our society. Through gathering spaces, connective care, and community-rooted support, we create places where all parts of people are welcome, no one has to navigate life alone and a sense of belonging to one’s community and to each other are centered.

Ember Place is founded on the Internal Family Systems framework. We believe that every person is made up of many experiences, thoughts, emotions, and diverse parts of ourselves—all of which deserve acknowledgment and a place to belong. Rather than asking people to show up as their best or most polished selves, we create space for safe authenticity in all its forms. Through this lens, we support self-awareness, compassion, and growth by normalizing the full spectrum of the human experience—joy, grief, curiosity, fear, growth, and everything in between.
